Who
is Gloria Ry'ann? She is the young girl growing up in
Chicago who found music as a way of dealing with life's
hardships. While exploring her mother's vast record collection,
Gloria developed her voice by singing along with the recordings
of Aretha Franklin, Sam Cooke and the Late, Great Minnie
Ripperton, to whom Gloria is often linked to.
Who
is Gloria Ry'ann? She is the young lady who sought formain
training for the voice she developed and became a student
of Dr. Lima Mc Lin, the famed Chicago voice coach who
also trained the voice of R. Kelly among others. Upon
Completion of her training, Gloria moved to New York and
immediately got gigs at such noted venues as the Apollo,
B.E.T.'s 106th & Park, S.O.B.'s and Joe's Pub. Sharing
the stage with the likes of Pattie Labelle, Brian McKnight,
Jeffery Osborne and legendary songwriters, Ashford and
Simpson to name a few.
